Our activity began in 1935 by means of Mario VERZEGNASSI and his wife Olga. After being started as a resale of wood and coal for heating in a little room in Monfalcone, the VERZEGNASSI family business shortly became the leader in the reselling of solid fuel for heating, serving Monfalcone and its outskirts. We bought new premises, the same where you can find us now, in Via Gorizia 13, Monfalcone, and kept on changing our business as the market changed. So we started selling gas bottles for domestic uses in 1953 and kerosene and fuel oil cans in 1965. In 1976 Mario and Olga handed over to their son Claudio and his wife Laura. Claudio and Laura had always been alert in the business and they could easily forecast the slump in solid and liquid fuel market, caused by methanization of their selling area. Hence they decided to put out Laura's experience in biological science, beginning with a service of agrarian advice and innovative supplies. Now the agricultural department is renowed in the whole Friuli Venezia-Giulia. Today the Agraria VERZEGNASSI offers more then 8.500 articles and we give great attention to the fields of domestic animals, irrigation and artificial lakelets.
